The CHING® Full Color printing process was developed for commercial production in 1997. Computers were becoming common, and access to the internet busted open with AOL and Compuserve. We were exploring graphics and general printing applications while revisiting an appreciation for Disc Golf. It was only a question of time before we challenged the industry's traditional single-color hotstamp image and started our workshop testing with full color digital imagery. Perseverance paid off on a path noone had considered, and we brought CYMK life to plastic.
A small collection of CHING® branded images were designed to show-off the capabilities, and the notion that Tournament Directors could get custom graphics on golf discs for prizes/trophies spread quickly through the competitive market.
The technology was licensed to Innova in 2001, and variations of our original designs are still available around the marketplace to this day.
